Hi Arthur-

Please forgive the delayed response – I was between US and Canada email addresses and got lost for a couple of days! In no way does my delay reflect how I feel about the service provided by the Taylor team in my move.

David provided outstanding service, made the timelines work, answered 947 stupid questions, and provided me a TON of reassurance in a very anxious period. I was most grateful for his guidance and support in what may have been the most stressful weeks of my life. He has been amazing.

The move itself could not have gone better – I had the ‘A’ team. Kyle and Shane (apologies for not knowing last names) were just terrific. They did very good work, but were also very personable and helpful to me. They had a slightly different timeline than I did when they arrived, but were more than happy to adjust and work a long day to get both packed and loaded, then dropped some items off at storage. Kyle was extremely knowledgeable about the border crossing process and gave me good information and reassurance. When I heard I might not have them for the unload upon arrival in Toronto, I called David and asked if I could have them again! I could not have been happier to see Kyle in the driver’s lounge at customs. We again had a good day and finished unloading pretty fast with the additional help from Kevin. Not one single thing was broken – not even a lightbulb (Shane is expert at packing lamps and bulbs!). We got two small items in Toronto that were supposed to be in storage (not a big deal AT ALL), but I have not yet thought of anything I was supposed to have in Toronto that may have ended up in storage. Kyle and Shane showed great care for my possessions, and that was so reassuring. And they were also nice guys – which made spending two days together not a bad experience at all. I dare say, I kind of had some fun.

I simply cannot say enough nice things about David, Kyle and Shane. I have copied David on this message, as well, and I encourage you to forward it to the team leader or supervisor for Kyle and Shane (and the guys themselves if you like). Kyle is Driver of the Year (and yes, we teased him about it for two days), so I know they know he is good, but I hope he hears it a LOT.

My husband and I recently “right-sized” into a bungalow after 39 years in our previous home. What a huge decision that was for us after so long in one place . A friend of ours recommended Taylor Moving and Storage to help us with our move. She had dealt with them and was very pleased. We had 2 other people come to give us estimates but we were most impressed with John Alaimo and the information he gave us regarding Taylors.

As our moving day approached we made several phone calls with questions and each time we had our questions answered and helpful information given to us. The staff was friendly and curtious, the “carton guys” were helpful, polite and informative and John was always willing to answer our questions and give us advice. We hadn’t moved for 39 years, we needed lots of help!

Our moving day arrived and 3 wonderful workers did their job. We were so pleased with Ed, Aaron and Andrew. They made a day which could have been very stressful, go so smoothly. We were amazed at how quickly they worked, both loading and unloading at our new place. They were all very professional, polite and we actually had a fun day with them. “Well done” fellows!!

We would recommend this company to anyone who is wanting to have the contents of their home moved professionally and with a courteous staff. Many thanks to all involved in making our move a happy one.

My Dearest Johnny-Boy!
Just wanted to send this email to you to thank-you for the fantastic move you provided to my parents. They were so extremely pleased with their move. And a big job it was for the boys- Ricardo and Dan. They were terrific with the move as they were not only careful and efficient but also very personable young men! We really enjoyed the move because they were so friendly and easy going and just really good at it all. Of course I wouldn’t expect anything but the best movers from you cuz you are the best at what you do. I just LOVE YOU…..You’re my guy! Never a worry. You are also very highly regarded by the staff at Taylor and the boys confirmed this as one of them said, “Yeah, John is always winning some kind of award every year” I have to say that just didn’t surprise me at all! I knew it!
Thank-you so very much again on behalf of my parents as well as myself. I am now settled into my house and can’t stop smiling and I think that is a good sign and so unless my parents move from their georgeous spot on the river, the rest of us have settled at this point. No more Taugher business for awhile……we all need a rest! But, stay in touch and stay cool my boy!

Hi Sean,

Just wanted to give some feedback on the two employees that assisted with my move. Ricardo and Dan were fantastic and went above and beyond what would be expected. They knew of my situation as far as having two newborns and still in the hospital and genuinely cared that my move happened as fast as they could. They had me loaded in Kingsville about a day or two ahead of schedule which allowed me to come back to St. Catharines to see my new son and daughter in the hospital. They also were absolutely outstanding at the unload and had everything in the house and bed’s built before the end of day saturday. I’ve been moved once before from another company (north american van lines)when I went out to Kingsville and these guys went way above and beyond compared to the other company. While they were unloading the truck I had to run and get a crib and dresser so I can get the kids rooms ready and knowing that my dad was unable to really help me get it up the stairs offered to carry it up for me. Again this wasn’t expected as this furniture didn’t come with me from Kingsville, just one more reason on my list these guys were outstanding. I’m currently a store manager and have worked in retail for 11 years and I would be so lucky to have associates like these guys. Just wanted to share my great experience as I know personally you normally get negative feedback from customers not positive. I would hope they get recognized for their excellent work, great customer service skills and professionalism.

Good Morning Dave, Just wanted to let you know that all went well with our move from Vittoria to Petrolia.

Kevin and Addam arrived Monday morning of March 12th, we did a quick walk around made arrangements for what would be moving and what would be staying. After that these two got to work and continued to amaze us as to how efficient they were to getting the job completed. They were very professional and courteous at all times, completed the job and got us moved. We feel like they were only here for us and nothing else. They made our transition to our new home a very simple and stress free task.

Thanks Roxy, sorry for the delay, as things have been really hectic. I thought you and the crew did a great job of connecting with me personally and providing quick responses to my questions and needs. Although things are never perfect with a move, I was very pleased with how the process went and how my goods were loaded, shipped and unloaded. The only constructive feedback centers around box labeling, but this was very insignificant. The best compliment I can provide is to say that I would be very pleased with using this company and crew on my next move.

Good afternoon Russ, Roxy,

As mentioned on Friday, I did want to take a quick moment to send you an e-mail to review/reflect on the service provided by Blain and Andrew last Friday (March 30th).

First of all, I did want to thank you very much for accommodating my last minute request; coming from someone in the industry, when I called on the 25th, I knew I was asking a lot of you to accommodate my 4 days of advance notice. However, in my opinion, Andrew and Blain were exactly what I/we needed in order to keep the day organized, energy up (I had 2 hours sleep the night before) and achieve the desired results in such a short period of time.

Specifically speaking, I was extremely impressed with how the guys conducted themselves in such a careful, efficient manner – despite having a truck that would only carry ½ of our goods, requiring us to make 2 trips, they were very methodical and worked hard every second they were at either residence. Where I found the most value added, from a customer and relocation professional standpoint, was helping the guys get the items out of the apartment, ready for loading into the elevator, and unloading into the new home – this afforded me the basic understanding of the physical demand involved with moving a large amount of goods and, maybe most importantly, the communication and organization required to make the process run so smoothly.

We have been working together for a few years and you may have noted that I am proponent of manners (good ones); phrases I most often use are please, thank you and I’m sorry (I’m perfect for the service industry…). Having said that, I do admittedly tend to say these more often than ordinary; however, I’m almost certain that I said thank you to the guys for every trip they made out of the apartment and into the house (in excess of 75 times) – both gentlemen caught every thank you and returned it with a you’re welcome, or no problem. That, to me, was what impressed me the most – although I implicitly knew that the guys had to be getting tired as the day wore on, their politeness, professionalism and dedication to a job well done is what I will remember. Andrew and Blain were a perfect representation of the Taylor brand that I have come to know and it was a pleasure to work along side them.

With all of the variables involved with buying and moving into our first home, I had 100% confidence that you and your staff had our best interest in mind from day one, allowing us to focus on other projects at the same time. Come the day of the move, these expectations were met and exceeded – having seen your service in action, I will continue to be a huge supporter of your business and can now attest to the quality and care provided by both your office and field staff.

Thank you very much once again for all of your help – I will be in touch in 5-7 years, when we are ready to consider moving again.
